Design for All
Allison Posey, Curriculum Design Specialist at CAST, will deliver our inaugural keynote address, Design for All. We know from experience and neuroscience that individuals learn in varied ways. Universal Design for Learning (UDL) provides educators with practical strategies and techniques to ensure that all learners can meet high expectations that prepare them for the workforce. In this keynote, participants will gain a working knowledge of the neuroscience of learning and how neuro-variability plays out in different educational environments in higher education settings. Allison will share strategies for how the UDL guidelines can be applied to support flexible, inclusive instruction across disciplines.
